Documentary Benefit Scheduled

October 13: 6:30 PM at New College of California Theatre, 777 Valencia Street. A benefit for the documentary Uncommon Knowledge: Closing the Books at UC Berkeley Extension  which will include a screening of footage from the film, a question and answer session with the filmmaker followed by a reception. The film chronicles the final months leading up to the closure of UC Berkeley's San Francisco campus as plans unfold to transform this historic campus into a profitable housing development.
