Koshland Park Community Party

We will be celebrating our neighborhood and getting together for a community party from 1-3pm on Saturday, May 13th (the day before Mother’s Day). This will be a great chance to spend time with other people from our wonderful community after our regular workday in Koshland Park. The workday starts in the morning, followed by a BBQ, Bake Sale, and Youth Performances by John Muir Elementary School, Western Addition Drill Team, Beacon Center and International High School! There will also be a crafts’ table for the youth focused on Mother’s Day Arts and Crafts projects.

Do you know what you are doing this summer? Do you know of opportunities for the youth of the community this summer? There will be a District 5 Summer Resource Fair at the event, with information geared to the youth of our area. Please see the insert in this issue of the Voice for a listing of programs, and come to the Community Party for more details.
