Learn to Cook!
Koshland Garden is hosting a series of healthy cooking classes this summer called Seed to Mouth.

Are you interested in sampling and learning how to prepare an entire menu of food made from fresh, organic produce? This summer, Koshland Park Community Learning Garden is offering five, hands-on cooking classes at the Hayes Valley South Community Room Rose Street) across the street from Koshland Park. These hands-on classes will teach neighbors how to prepare dishes using locally grown produce from Koshland Garden. At the end of each class, recipes and produce will be given away so that class participants can take the shared ideas and practice preparing the dishes at home. Classes will also be held at Hayes Valley Playground (Buchanan & Hayes Streets) on Friday afternoons and Ella Hill Hutch in August. For more information or to sign up, call Rebecca (415) 987-0433 or Suzi (415) 420-6518.
Koshland Park Community Learning Garden is located at the corner of Page and Buchanan, and is a project of Hayes Valley Neighborhood Parks Group. Thank you to the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice for the opportunity to offer these classes.
