Our Environment: Parks and Safety

At the upcoming meeting we will hear from people working to make Hayes Valley better for all of us. There will be a presentation from the City’s Department of Recreation and Parks regarding parks in general as well as soliciting neighborhood feedback; there will be a presentation from Community Response Network about safety issues and crime prevention in Hayes Valley, Lower Haight and Western Addition; and there will be a presentation from Hayes Valley Neighborhood Parks Group linking those 2 topics through the creation and installation of the Peace Tile wall at Koshland Park.

The meeting will take place at 7 pm at the First Baptist Church, 7 Octavia Blvd.
