Spend the Summer with the Mayor!
The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services (MONS) is looking for a few smart, thoughtful, motivated, and politically savvy interns to contribute to our team this summer. Could this be you? Working with our diverse team, intern will apply their superb research, writing, organizational, and creative skills to meet the varied needs of the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services’ clients. Exposure to City leaders, a fast-paced environment, real responsibility, and an overall great learning experience are assured.
A qualified candidate will be enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college (exceptional high school students also considered) and maintain an average GPA of 3.0. Foreign language proficiency is a plus. We also encourage recent graduates to apply. A focus on or interest in political science, public policy, communications or any other major really and a demonstrated commitment to San Francisco are highly desirable. To be considered for this position, candidates must be available 15 to 20 hours per week for the duration of the school year. Candidates reaching the interview phase will be given a writing test.
College credit available (if you do a good job and handle the necessary paperwork, we’ll sign it). Plus, the opportunity to work in a fast paced, never a dull day atmosphere, where you will have ever grateful people willing to give you awesome recommendations.
